Spinelli's is a great place for families or to grab a beer and a pizza with friends. My recommendation is to stick with the classics, specifically, pizza. They do fine with appetizers and salads, but the pizza is on par with many NYC spots. Service is always great. If I had 3 kids with me I'd go around the corner to Mike's, If I had co-workers or friends with me, I'd definitely be at Spinelli's.
Have done both take out and dine in. We’ve never been disappointed in either way. The pepperoni pizza is top shelf. The old world cupped pepperoni just add a spicy zing to the pie. The staff are beyond friendly there, the food is hot and fresh every single time. We found this place a little bit after we moved to the area (let’s be real, once you move to a new place the first thing you do is find the best pizza parlors, right?).
The pizza is some of the best in the area! The Grandmothers pizza is my favorite...the crust is crisp but doughy and warm, yum! The Antipasto Salad is fresh as well. Good atmosphere, lots of TV's and decent service.
Spinelli's is one of the best restaurants in the area. This is my second review of this restaurant, and it's even better this time around. The food was good, and customer service was excellent.
I WHOLE HEARTEDLY LOVED THE CHICKEN SPINELLI WITH ARTICHOKE SERVED WITH LINGUINE AND A ICEBERG SALAD. THIS WAS AN AMAZING MEAL. HATS OFF TO THE CHEF!
So recently I ordered 2 Druken Chicken Parms from here w/ extra chicken and cheese and omg. The sandwich was so good. My bf is from NY and is always disappointed by the heros out here but this was the first time he has ever said that the hero reminds him of NY and that it literally gave him nostalgia. 10/1000 and I will be ordering it over and over
Excellent menu family style portions. The appetizers and salad are a bargain. Fully stocked bar. Located in ShopRite shopping center too. Lots of fun and we were there a couple hours .
